Warranty FAQ

What does the standard warranty cover?

The standard 2-year warranty covers all manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship. This includes parts and labor for any repairs needed due to normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, drops, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear on consumable components. Shipping costs for sending the unit to and from our service center are the responsibility of the customer.

How do I purchase the extended warranty?

The 5-Year Extended Warranty must be purchased within 30 days of your original equipment purchase date. Contact us at info@xrddental.com to add extended coverage, or purchase directly from our online store.

What's the difference between the Extended Warranty and Ultra Care?

Both plans apply exclusively to portable X-ray units — they do not cover sensors or autoclaves (which are covered by their standard manufacturer warranty). The Extended Warranty is a one-time purchase that extends your XRD 70 coverage from 2 to 5 years. The Ultra Care Plan is an annual subscription ($995/year) that includes everything in the extended warranty plus a loaner unit during repairs and priority scheduling. Ultra Care also covers compatible portable X-ray brands (XRD, Digimed, Digital Doc). Ultra Care is ideal for high-volume practices that cannot afford downtime.

How do I submit a warranty claim?

Email info@xrddental.com with your unit serial number and a description of the issue. Our team will respond with troubleshooting steps or a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. Ship the unit to our Clermont, FL facility at the address provided. Shipping to and from our service center is the customer's responsibility.

Can I transfer my warranty to a new owner?

No. All XRD warranties are non-transferable and apply exclusively to the original purchaser from an authorized dealer. Proof of original purchase is required for all warranty claims. This policy ensures that warranty coverage is maintained for verified customers who purchased through legitimate channels.

Warranty Terms & Conditions

The warranty terms and conditions document provided with your product at the time of purchase constitutes the complete and binding warranty agreement between you and XRD Dental Equipment. This webpage is for informational purposes only and does not modify, extend, or replace the physical warranty document. In the event of any discrepancy between this page and the warranty document accompanying your product, the physical document shall prevail.

All warranties are non-transferable and apply exclusively to the original purchaser from an authorized XRD dealer. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. XRD Dental Equipment reserves the right to repair or replace defective products at its sole discretion. XRD shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the product. Warranty coverage is void if the product has been subject to misuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, or repair by unauthorized personnel.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Orange County, Florida.
